The Big Céilidh Fiddle


Sitting along the harbourfront, behind the "Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion" (I have no idea what that is or what it does) I found this gigantic violin, sitting 18 meters tall. Wish I knew more of its significance, but it sure was cool.

Love all your shots!! The ocean one makes me want to be there sooo bad!! Had to giggle at the whit board...and I had to google the fiddle...
The Fiddle represents a huge part of our Heritage and was always a welcome visitor to many Kitchen Parties here in Cape Breton spanning many generations . found that here:
